This year, we are hosting our 2016 Baseball Picnic prior to Clean Old Fashioned Hate at Turner Field (you know, against the bullpuppies). But the good news is that ticket proceeds benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, so it is a worthy event to attend. We know that many of you may be able to dip out of work a few minutes early to attend a tailgate but don’t have time to do it up right. So join us before the game for hot dogs and hamburgers with all the fixins. It’s all you can eat too, so skip lunch to get to the tailgate even earlier!
To make this an even bigger and better event, we are partnering up with the Georgia Tech Young Alumni Council this year! So let’s bring all the Tech fans together in one big tailgate and have some fun before the game!
When: May 17, 2016, 4:00 – 7:00 PM
Where: Green Lot, Turner Field Parking (See Braves parking map)
Picnic: $10/adult & $8/child
Game Ticket: $10/each

Our North Metro area volunteer event this year is at Woodland Charter Elementary School near Sandy Springs. If you have time on Sunday, please stop by and come join our group of Georgia Tech students and alumni at the North Metro area TEAM Buzz event!
What: Georgia Tech’s TEAM Buzz is an organization devoted to making our communities better. The concept is simple: provide a service day that acts as a focal point to allow our campus and alumni to come together to serve. This year, our National TEAM Buzz Day is Sunday, October 18, 2015.
How: Our 2015 TEAM Buzz event in the North Metro area is at Woodland Charter Elementary School. Volunteer events include campus cleanup, building planting beds, shelving, and potting tables for an outdoor classroom/kitchen, and construction of an indoor hydroponics classroom. All ages are welcome. We will build indoors if there is inclement weather.
