The North Metro Georgia Tech Club welcomes all new incoming Tech freshmen and their families to a cookout on August 8, 2:00-4:00 PM. Meet fellow Tech freshmen from the area as well as Alumni that can give you advice on campus events, classes to take and our favorite professors.

Lunch Bunch Returns August 31

Lunch Bunch returns for the 2015-16 season on August 31 with Georgia Tech Athletic Director Mike Bobinski!

Thank you to Hudson Grille for continuing to support the North Metro Club by hosting our weekly Lunch Bunches and game watching parties, as well as providing the awesome discount for our dues paying members. Club officers will be available at Lunch Bunch so that you can get your new membership card and continuing to enjoy this benefit of membership.

Join us each Monday at Hudson Grille Sandy Springs to enjoy a featured speaker of interest to Georgia Tech fans. The presentation starts at approximately noon, but come early for the best seats and to enjoy lunch with fellow Tech fans.

Red Hare Brewery Tour Benefiting Canine Rescue Groups

Need a reason to come out and network with local Georgia Tech alumni? Does early, private, and discounted access to the Red Hare brewery sound exciting? What about enjoying Red Hare Brewery’s assortment of craft beers on a warm spring day?  Come join us for our North Metro Young Alumni Philanthropy Mixer at Red Hare Brewery. Whether you are a recent Georgia Tech graduate, or young at heart, everyone is welcome!

Cost:
(Adults 21+): $10 gets you a souvenir beer glass with 6 beer samples and a brewery tour
(Any age): $6 gets you 6 samples of root beer and a brewery tour

In support of two local canine rescue groups, Mutt Madd-ness and Road Trip Home, we will be collecting supplies to help bring dogs into loving homes. 2015 Baseball Picnic

Baseball_Picnic_JanyJoin the North Metro Georgia Tech Alumni Club on April 26 for the annual baseball picnic and scholarship fundraiser. All proceeds go towards the Club’s scholarship fund to benefit area high school seniors who will be attending Georgia Tech.

When: April 26, 2015, starting at 11:00 am
Where: Picnic area in front of the O’Keefe (volleyball) gym
6th Street and Techwood Drive
Cost:Adults: $8, Kids, 12 and under: $6
Game tickets sold separately at same prices.

Our allotment of game tickets have already sold out! You can still get tickets through the Georgia Tech Athletic Association though. Space is still available for the picnic! Walk-ups are welcome at the picnic. You do not have to be a GT alumni to attend. We are even welcome the Clemson fans you know.
